Alia Bhatt was the first choice for Neerja Bhanot’s biopic titled Neerja. Before the makers could approach her with the movie, Atul Kasbekar (one of the producers) claimed that Alia was a bit too short to play an air hostess. He had another name in mind and it was none other than Sonam Kapoor. This actually made sense and the movie slipped out of Alia’s hand. Can you imagine how different the movie has been with Alia in it? Interestingly, Alia played air hostess in Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
