One of the most eagerly anticipated films of the year is Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. The actor plays Arjun Singh, a man who has vied for his father Balbir Singh’s (Anil Kapoor) all his life. The complex father and son relationship makes up much of the story of this Hindi film, after the director’s previous blockbuster Kabir Singh in 2019.Vanga’s film does not shy away from violence. Several sequences feature Ranbir’s character, a leader of a criminal gang, out for a thirst for revenge after what he perceives is an attack on his father.
