Smita then simply asked him, “Are you ok?” When Amitabh answered that he was, Smita told him that she had a bad dream involving him and was just checking in on him.
It was uncanny that the very next day, Amitabh met with the infamous accident on the sets of Coolie that had his life hanging on a string for a long time. It was a fight scene with co-actor Puneet Issar where Puneet had to land him a punch and he would go land on a table. However, upon landing on the table. Amitabh’s stomach hit the edge of the table too hard, leading to a massive internal injury. He was hospitalised for months and doctors had even said that his life was in danger. He finally recovered after almost a year.
