The countdown for Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki is ongoing in full swing. With only six days until the film’s release, the anticipation around the Rajkumar Hirani directorial is rising each day. As such, Shah Rukh Khan takes to social media every day to count the days till the release with his beloved fans. On Saturday, December 16, Shah Rukh asked his fans to take their entire families to see the film.
Taking to the popular social media platform Instagram, Shah Rukh Khan shared a fresh poster that showed all the characters undertaking an arduous journey through the desert with King Khan himself leading the way. He captioned the post, “Nikle the kabhi hum ghar se…bass 5 dinon mein cinemas pahoch jayenge! Aap bhi apno ko lekar gharse nikal jaana. 21 ko milkar humari picture dekhne aana. 5 Days to go for #Dunki.”

The trailer and songs from the movie have garnered a lot of buzz, and the wait until December 21 is proving to be a long one. Much to the delight of the fans, the advance ticket booking dates are finally out. Many of the actor’s fans are looking forward to making the film yet another commercial blockbuster after the record-breaking success of Jawan earlier this year.
As per a report by Pinkvilla, ticket pre-sales for Dunki will begin on Saturday, December 16. While some booking portals may start with partial bookings from Friday, December 15, onwards, full-scale bookings will begin on Saturday. Furthermore, overseas advance reservations began last week, with pre-sales numbers giving a positive review of the success. Reportedly, the movie is expected to release at USD 2.50 million or higher globally. In the international market, it has the potential to exceed USD 3 million. If the audience receives the film well, they are expected to generate a staggering amount in excess of USD 15 million through its run over weekends.
