Actor Anupam Kher reunited with his ‘dear friend’ Rajinikanth in Ayodhya on January 21. The duo is set to grace the auspicious grand ceremony of the Ram Mandir on January 22. Several luminaries from the realms of cinema, sports, and politics are scheduled to attend the event. Recently, Anupam shared a memorable picture on his Instagram with Rajinikanth ahead of the Ram Mandir inaugural event.
In the photo, two veterans can be seen smiling while posing for the cameras. Captioning the picture, Anupam expressed, “Amazing to meet my friend and one and only superstar Rajinikanth in Shri Ram Janm Bhumi, Ayodhya! Jai Shri Ram!”
Fans and followers showered the actor’s post with love and admiration. A user expressed, “Only legends are seen together in Ayodhya. A few minutes ago, Anupam shared a sneak peek of his visit to Ayodhya on his Instagram. In the video, he is captured offering prayers to Lord Hanuman ahead of the joyous celebrations for Lord Ram’s prana-pratishtha ceremony. In his caption, he expressed, “Before the installation of Lord Ram’s idol, I desire to see Lord Hanuman! The darshan of Hanuman Ji from Hanumangarhi is for all of you too. Jai Shri Ram.”
For the mega event, celebrities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Hema Malini, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli, and others are set to grace the ceremony in Ayodhya.
On the professional front, Anupam Kher has an exciting lineup of projects in his kitty. He is all set to feature in director Sikandar Sidhu’s thriller film Room, where he shares the screen with Parvin Dabas and Demi Mann. Additionally, he is slated to appear in director U.R. Jameel’s action thriller film Miss Match India alongside Chitrangda Singh. Anupam Kher is also anticipated to be part of projects like Hera Pheri 3, Vijay 69, The Signature, and more.
Rajinikanth is gearing up to grace the silver screen in director Aishwarya Dhanush’s drama film Lal Salaam. Additionally, he will be seen in Director T.J. Gnanavel’s project Vettaiyan alongside Amitabh Bachchan.
