‘It Is Very Thrilling’: Nora Fatehi On Her Kannada Debut

She was last seen in Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer An Action Hero.

Directed by Prem, the film holds significant anticipation with Nora’s involvement.

Nora Fatehi is excited about her upcoming debut in the Kannada film industry, having inked a two-movie agreement with KVN Productions. The initial film, named KD – The Devil, will highlight Nora’s dancing expertise in a special sequence alongside Sanjay Dutt. Directed by Prem, the film holds significant anticipation with Nora’s involvement.

Prem expressed his confidence in Nora, stating, “Nora Fatehi brings immense dedication and focus to the role. I have great faith in this global sensation, and I believe her unique contribution will take the film to unprecedented heights.” Nora, equally excited about her Kannada projects, said, “Being part of the dynamic Kannada film industry is thrilling. This collaboration allows me to connect with a new audience and explore diverse storytelling traditions in Karnataka. I look forward to sharing our work with the audience.”

Recently seen in An Action Hero, Nora Fatehi’s upcoming project is Madgaon Express, featuring Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu, Avinash Tiwary, and Chhaya Kadam in significant roles. Directed by Kunal Khemmu and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, the film is slated for a theatrical release on March 22. Additionally, she has Crakk-Jeetega Toh Jiyegaa in the pipeline, scheduled to hit theatres on February 23.

Nora Fatehi recently joined the list of victims of deepfake content on the internet. Following celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Rashmika Mandanna, and Sachin Tendulkar, Nora took to her Instagram stories to clarify that the woman in the video is not her. She shared a video from a clothing brand using her deepfake, featuring a lookalike mimicking her mannerisms, appearance, and voice.

Nora Fatehi emphasised the video’s falseness by labelling it as ‘fake’ in bold letters. The brand, however, has not yet responded to her assertions. The Indian entertainment industry previously faced a similar situation when a deepfake video featuring Rashmika Mandanna from Pushpa: The Rise surfaced on the internet, causing a stir.
