Chiranjeevi Begins Shooting For ‘Vishwambhara’, Announces Release Date With Intriguing Poster

Reportedly, the makers of Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Vishwambhara’ have constructed 13 huge sets in Hyderabad.
Chiranjeevi has started shooting for his 156th film ‘Vishwambhara’. On Friday, the makers of the movie shared a new intriguing poster as they also announced that the much-awaited film will hit theatres on January 10, 2025. “A LEGEND RISES. MEGASTAR @KChiruTweets sets his foot into the mighty world of #Vishwambhara (heart and fire emojis. Shoot in Progress. In cinemas 10th Jan 2025 (sic),” the makers wrote.
The mega fantasy adventure is directed by Vassishta of Bimbisara fame under the production house, UV Creations. Vikram, Vamsi, and Pramod are producing the movie, which is said to be one of Chiranjeevi’s costliest films to date.
Reportedly, the team has also erected 13 huge sets in Hyderabad where the film will be shot. Although the shoot began in the last week of November 2023, Chiranjeevi set his foot into the mighty world of Vishwambhara on Friday, February 2.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi was recently among 132 people conferred with Padma awards. He was honoured with the Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian honour awarded for exceptional and distinguished service. After the announcement, the superstar issued a video statement and expressed his gratitude to his fans and well-wishers.
Chiranjeevi shared that he was “speechless” after he got to know about the honour and said that he is “overwhelmed, humbled and grateful” about it. “It is only the unconditional love of the audience, my friends, my blood brothers, and sisters. I owe this life and moment to you. I have always tried to express my gratitude in the ways I can, though I know I can never do enough,” he said.
“On screen, in the last 45 years of my film career I have tried to entertain you to the best of my capabilities and off screen, I try to help the needy by taking up relevant social and humanitarian causes from time to time. I have done so little, yet you have given me such great recognition and honour. I always remain indebted to you for your love and support,” he continued.
Chiranjeevi further thanked the government of India and concluded by saying, “At this moment of pride, I would like to thank the government of India and our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji for bestowing on me Padma Vibhushan. Thank you. Jai Hind.”
