Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon are gearing up for the release of their upcoming film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. As the release date of the film approaches, Shahid and Kriti are busy promoting the film in full swing. As part of their promotions, Shahid and Kriti recently shot for the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Kriti shared a fun video from the set.
Taking to her Instagram story, Kriti shared a funny video of Shahid from the film promotions. In the video, Shahid put his head on Kriti’s shoulder and pretended to cry. “We are just three days from release, Kriti. Three days, oh god.” Kriti asked, “Why are you crying, be happy.” Shahid said, “We put so much love and heart into this film.”
Shahid and Kriti’s upcoming film is a love story between a human and a robot. It marks Shahid’s return to the romantic comedy genre after a significant period. His fans are eager to watch his chemistry with Kriti on the big screen.
Shahid revealed exclusively to News18 what kept him away from romantic entertainers. He shared that cracking the perfect script for a romantic love story is difficult for him, as he’s keen on offering something new to the audience with his filmi outings. “I was kind of missing doing something light and fun, definitely, but honestly, it’s the most difficult genre to crack. Because, I mean, I listen to 10 scripts a month, and people don’t know that there’s so much you hear from others – people tell me ‘aur picture karo’. But it’s so difficult to find scripts that could offer the audience something new, and love story is the most difficult genre, I feel, to do. And then, I just found this film was answering that question of mine, like what is it that you can do new in a love story.”
Shahid and Kriti’s film is scheduled to be released on February 9 this year.
