Animal was released in theatres on December 1, 2023.
Reportedly, Vicky Kaushal is being considered for a negative role in Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal Park.
After the massive success of Animal, fans are eagerly waiting for the film’s sequel, Animal Park. However, if a recent report is to be believed, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal 2 might bring bigger surprises for audiences. Recently, Instant Bollywood reported that the director is likely to get Vicky Kaushal on board for the sequel of his blockbuster movie.
Reportedly, Vicky Kaushal is being considered for a negative role in Animal Park. While there is no official confirmation regarding this as of now, it will be interesting to see Vicky’s on-screen clash with Ranbir. In the first part of the movie, it was Bobby Deol who played the negative lead and his fight sequences with Ranbir were widely loved by all.
It should also be noted that Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur clashed with Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal at the box office in December 2023.
Animal 2 aka Animal Park was officially announced in December 2023 when it was announced that Sandeep Vanga and Bhushan Kumar have joined forces to bring forth the highly anticipated sequel. Sharing the news on its official Instagram handle, T-Series wrote, “It’s a partnership built on trust, fueled by creative freedom, and fortified by an unbreakable bond. Producer Bhushan Kumar and Director #SandeepReddyVanga unveil the next cinematic wonders—Prabhas’ Spirit, Animal Park, and an Allu Arjun saga—the chapters that follow the monumental success of Kabir Singh and #Animal.”
“The kind of freedom he gives in terms of my creativity and the liberty to choose any song makes me feel at home at T-Series, and there is nothing more than that a director needs,” the director also shared.
Released on December 1, 2023, Animal revolved around a man and his toxic relationship with his father. The film showed Vijay (played by Ranbir) as an anti-hero who would go to any lengths to protect his father, including gun down 200 people with machine gun. However, despite his efforts, he struggled to get a seal of approval from his emotionally unavailable father (played by Anil Kapoor). The film earned over Rs 900 crore at the box office.
