Bastar Box Office Collection Day 2: Grows On Saturday, Crosses 1 Crore Mark

After bringing in 40 lakhs* on Friday, Bastar grew to some extent on Saturday and brought in 70 lakhs* more. The growth is strictly in terms of relative value since it’s 50%. However, in absolute terms, the collections are still quite low, as only 20 lakhs more have come in.

Ideally, the film needed to at least double up on Saturday, which means, at the bare minimum, 80 lakhs had to come. Even that wouldn’t have got Bastar into a solid zone but at least there would have been some sort of platform set to grow further. As a matter of fact, the film should have opened to at least 1 crore and then should have doubled and then tripled on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. However, with that not happening, what was required was that day-on-day jumps from the low Friday numbers were indeed huge, something which has unfortunately not happened on Saturday.

Bastar starring Adah Sharma, has gone past the 1 crore mark, though, as it currently stands at 1.10 crore*. One just hopes that there is some sort of growth in Bastar Box Office Collection that comes in today as well, both in terms of percentage as well as the absolute score, and at least 1 crore more get added to the total before the weekend comes to a close.
