South Korean actor Lee Jae-wook and K-pop star Karina’s relationship recently became a point of discussion among fans after they went through a swift on-and-off phase. Weeks after confirming their relationship, the couple reportedly parted ways due to the mental stress caused by negative comments on the internet. Well, this indeed stirred a lot of conversations among fans, beginning with a controversy that came after acknowledging their relationship and then the abrupt decision to part ways.
Now that they have gone separate ways for reasons best known to them, Lee Jae-wook shared his first Instagram post after the breakup. The post includes pictures from his latest photoshoot that would appear on the cover of Singles, Korea.
As soon as the pictures were shared, fans were left swooning over the actor’s alluring visuals while some couldn’t help but notice the ironic similarity between the photoshoot’s title and his current relationship status.
Many took to the comment section and reacted to the photoshoot’s title in the backdrop of his recent breakup with the Aespa star. A fan wrote, “LMAO..NOT THE TITLE BEING SINGLES??,” while another one commented, “Wow, but the name of the magazine broke me lololololol.”

What happened Between Lee Jae-wook And Karina?
In February of this year, the Alchemy of Souls actor and Karina’s respective agencies confirmed that the two were dating each other. The Aespa member also issued an apology for keeping the news hidden from their fans. The couple reportedly first met at a Prada fashion show in January this year and got into regular meetings.
Five weeks after publicly announcing their relationship, they broke up. Lee Jae’s agency confirmed the breakup, stating that the actor chose to focus on his career and that they would continue to support each other professionally. “Actor Lee Jae-wook decided to end the relationship in order to focus on his work that he is currently filming. The two will remain good colleagues and support one another. They will greet their fans with good activities through their respective avenues in the future. Please show your interest and support,” the statement read.
They ended up facing significant online backlash, which seemingly led to their split.
