Prabhas and Akshay Kumar to star in pan-Indian film Kannappa!
Vishnu Manchu’s grand multi-star project Kannappa will include Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, and Brahmanandam.
Prabhas And Akshay Kumar To Star In Pan-Indian Film Kannappa!
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the film will explore the legendary figure – Kannappa who was a devoted follower of the Hindu god Shiva. The fantasy drama is expected to be dubbed and release in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi and English.
Prabhas is reportedly playing the role of Lord Shiva in a special appearance while Akshay Kumar will be seen in a cameo role.
Vishnu Manchu who plays the titular role of Kannappa, said – “With my dear friend Prabhas onboard, Kannappa emerges as a true Pan-Indian magnum opus, uniting stars from diverse linguistic backgrounds.”

Prabhas’s next is the sci-fi actioner Kalki 2898 AD. He will also be returning with Prasanth Neel’s Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryanga Parvam. He is collaborating with Sandeep Reddy Vanga for Spirit as well. Another one of his projects is the Telugu movie The Raja Saab.
