Janhvi Kapoor Says She, BF Shikhar Pahariya Have ‘Raised Each Other’: ‘Been In My Life Since I Was 15’

Janhvi Kapoor said that Shikhar Pahariya and she have the same dreams and they are very close.
Janhvi Kapoor recently confirmed that she has been dating Shikhar Pahariya for a while now. The two had broken up but have been going steady for quite some time now. In a recent chat, Janhvi opened up about her dynamic with Shikhar and said that they have “raised” each other.
Speaking to Mirchi Plus, Janhvi Kapoor said, “He (Shikhar Pahariya) has been in my life since I was 15-16. I think my dreams have always been his dreams and his dreams have always been my dreams. We’ve been very close. We’ve been each other’s support system almost as if we’ve raised each other.”
Recently, a paparazzi page on Instagram shared that Janhvi will tie the knot with Shikhar in Tirupati Temple in a gold saree. However, the actor was quick to shut down the rumours with a short but hilarious reply. Reacting to the paparazzi post on Instagram, Janhvi commented, “Kuch bhi (What even).” Several fans reacted with laughing face emojis under Janhvi’s comment.
Janhvi Kapoor never shies away from expressing her fondness for Shikhar. Recently, her father and film producer, Boney Kapoor, also confirmed that the actress is in a romantic relationship with Shikhar. “I love him (Shikhar) and in fact, in between a couple of years back Janhvi was not seeing him but I was still friendly to him. I was convinced he could never be an ex. He’ll be around. When any person is there for you in any capacity whether it’s for me, whether it’s for Janhvi, whether it’s for Arjun, he is friendly to all. So I feel we’re blessed to have somebody like him in our set up,” Boney told Zoom.
Shikhar Pahariya is the grandson of politician and Maharashtra’s former Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde. Reportedly, Shikhar and Janhvi were in a serious relationship earlier but then broke up. The duo reportedly patched up last year. They are often spotted together. Shikhar has also posed for paps with Boney Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor on several occasions.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi Kapoor is currently awaiting the release of her highly anticipated next Mr And Mrs Mahi. The actress will be essaying the role of a doctor turned cricketer in the film. The film also stars Rajkummar Rao in the lead. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film will be released on May 31. The film is a Dharma Productions venture and has generated quite a buzz for itself before its release.
