Producer Jayesh Patel opens up about releasing Kapkapiii after director Sangeeth Sivan’s demise

Sangeeth Sivan bid adieu just before the release of his latest Bollywood project, “Kapkapiii” which he completed few days back. The horror-comedy, produced by Jayesh Patel under the banner of Bravo Entertainment, stars Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor alongside Sonia Rathee, Siddhi Idnani, Jay Thakkar, Varun Pandey, and Dherendra Tiwari.

Patel shared a close bond with Sivan, describing their connection as both professional and deeply personal. “Sangeeth Sivan is and will always be irreplaceable for me,” Patel said. “This might be one of the reasons that we have been able to crack a commendable film, “Kapkapiii.” So, he himself has given the green light to all the creative aspects of the film, which is at the final stage of completion. Although he is not with us physically, we feel his soul is still there with us, with all his infectious laughter and blessings.”

Patel, determined to fulfill Sivan’s vision, aims for a wide release and positive audience reception. He stated, “Sangeeth Sivan, a person full of life, used to feel at his peak working on a comedy genre. Hence, our film Kapkapiii, being a mix of horror and comedy, had given him boundless joy in exerting his utmost efforts. Seeing its remarkable outcome, I am determined for its widespread release and reception by broader audiences, fulfilling his expectations to the fullest.”

The audience was hoping for Kapkapii to be a fabulous comedy entertainer directed by Sangeeth Sivan. However, now, the movie has become a sad reminder of the painful memories of the director’s unexpected demise. The movie, meanwhile, is set to hit theatres soon. Kapkapii is bankrolled by Jayesh Patel for the banner of Bravo Entertainment.
