IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack official teaser has been launched by Netflix as the series gears up for a release on August 29, 2024.

The series is based on the true events that took place in 1999. On the fateful day of December 24, 1999, Indian Airlines Flight IC 814 embarked on its journey from Kathmandu to New Delhi, unaware that it was on the brink of plunging into the heart of a dramatic seven-day odyssey of terror and intrigue.

Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the series features an all-star lineup including Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur, Vijay Varma, Arvind Swamy, Dia Mirza, Patralekhaa, Amrita Puri, Anupam Tripathi, Kumud Mishra, and Manoj Pahwa, amongst others.

Created and written by Anubhav Sinha and Trishant Srivastava, this six-episode series thrusts you into the nerve-wracking reality faced by passengers and crew trapped at 30,000 feet.
