Meanwhile, Salman Khan is making headlines with his next action drama, Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss in which Rashmika Mandanna will play the lead. The film was announced this Eid and is scheduled for release on Eid next year. Pinkvilla reports that despite a rib injury, Salman has resumed shooting, with a recent photo of him on set going viral on social media.
The report also highlights that the film’s team is building an elaborate set representing Dharavi and Matunga, costing approximately Rs 15 crore. The shooting will span 45 days before moving to a palace in Hyderabad for the next phase of production. Salman, committed to his role, continues to work through his injury.
Additionally, Pinkvilla notes that Salman’s character will embody traits of arrogance, portraying a true ‘Sikandar’ from a royal lineage. This ‘bad boy’ persona is expected to resonate with fans, reminiscent of Salman’s role in Sultan.
Recently, Salman Khan was spotted at an event in Mumbai, where several videos of the Bollywood superstar quickly went viral. Among these, one particular clip caught fans’ attention and concern. In the video, Salman appears to struggle as he gets up from his seat, leaning on the back of the sofa for support before eventually standing to greet Sonali Bendre, who was also at the event. It’s worth noting that Salman attended the event despite his recent rib injury and ongoing health issues.
