In an earlier appearance on Indian Idol, Asha recalled that she first worked with Rajesh in the film Baharon Ke Sapne. Asha said that Rajesh was an “introvert” and “wouldn’t speak to anyone” in early days. “Actually he was scared of me. Because he had just started his career so he would just be a little hesitant. One day, he looked at me and turned his face so I felt very bad. I said, ‘no dates’. After that, he was scolded. Then he called me and he said I didn’t mean it like that. He said it was because he was scared of me,” she recalled.
