Jr. NTR’s Devara (Hindi) has a decent weekend; crosses 25 crore nett

Devara Hindi Opening weekend collections:

Devara, starring Jr. NTR in the lead role, has had a decent opening weekend in the Hindi dubbed version. The north distribution of the film was done by Dharma Productions and AA Films, who managed to get a wide enough release for the Telugu language drama. The film has done well over the first weekend and can emerge as a success of the weekdays, and the second weekend can add good numbers.

Devara Part 1 opened with 7.50 crore nett on Friday and then showed a decent jump on Saturday. The second day collections of the film were 8.75 crore nett. It was expected to touch a double-digit figure on Sunday, and it happened. Devara collected approx. 10.25 crore nett on Sunday, with Urban centers showing good occupancy. The overall weekend total for the film is over 26 crore nett mark, which is decent to good. 

Devara collected over 140 crore nett in all languages at the Indian box office. The gross numbers for the film are approx. 170 crore. It showed an expected drop after a fantastic weekend, but it wasn’t a huge drop. The initial status of the film shows that it may turn out to be a success, but a lot depends on how it performs on weekdays.
