A POCSO case filed on Ekta Kapoor for showing vulgar scenes of minor girls in Gandii Baat

POCSO case on Ekta Kapoor:

Ekta Kapoor’s Alt Balaji has brought her in trouble many times before, and that’s why content creation was restricted in the recent past. However, the past mistakes are coming to hunt Kapoor now. A case has been filed against producer Ekta Kapoor and her mother, Shobha Kapoor, under the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses) Act for showing vulgar scenes of minor girls in their webseries that steamed on Alt Balaji.

As per reports, the complainant deliberately asked for POCSO, as many other cases were already filed against the same platform. Earlier, Alt Balaji was alleged to be defaming saints by using cigarettes. This time, the complaint alleged then of child pornography under the POCSO Act for featuring obscene scenes of underage girls in Gandii Baat Season 6 between 2021 and April 2021.

The complaint also mentioned the children’s safety, and the court then ordered the police to file a case under this serious act made for children’s safety from sexual offenses. Ekta Kapoor and Shobha may face serious consequences. Gandii Baat has always been a controversial show for the kind of vulgarity and adult content it offers to audiences, so it’s nothing really new.
