Reports of Fatima Sana Shaikh and R Madhavan joining forces for an exciting new project under Dharmatic Entertainment have been all over the Internet. The film is touted to be an age-defying love story, and it marks a fresh collaboration between the two talented actors. Now, as per the latest development, both actors will begin shooting for the film in November.
The shoot for the film will commence in the first week of November. A source revealed, “The shoot schedule for Fatima Sana Shaikh and R. Madhavan’s Dharmatic project is set to begin in the first week of November.” The film is rumoured to be a quirky romance between an older man and a younger woman, offering a refreshing take on love stories.
This yet-untitled film marks Fatima Sana Shaikh’s second collaboration with Dharmatic Entertainment after her role in the Netflix anthology ‘Ajeeb Daastaans’, produced by Karan Johar’s digital arm. Meanwhile, R Madhavan is returning to the romance genre after years, and it is sure to get fans super-excited!
R Madhavan’s most recent role in the supernatural horror film Shaitaan, directed by Vikas Bahl, saw him take on a darker, more intense character alongside Ajay Devgn. It also starred Jyothika, Janki Bodiwala, and Anngad Raaj. Madhavan gained appreciation for his exceptional acting skills as the antagonist in the film.
Madhavan will next be seen in an untitled film co-starring Akshay Kumar and Ananya Panday, based on the biopic of C Sankaran Nair. The movie is backed by filmmaker Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions in collaboration with Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films and Leo Media Collective, and will be released in theatres worldwide on March 14, 2025.
On the other hand, Fatima Sana Shaikh also has an interesting lineup of films. She will soon appear in Anurag Basu’s Metro… In Dino with Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan, as well as in Ul Jalool Ishq with Naseeruddin Shah and Vijay Varma.
