Telugu superstar Nagarjuna was thrilled to introduce his soon-to-be daughter-in-law Sobhita Dhulipala with friends and family members from the film industry. In a video surfaced online, Nagarjuna was seen calling for Sobhita and proudly introducing her to megastar Chiranjeevi. Sobhita had joined the Akkineni family at the ANR Award ceremony, where Chiranjeevi was honoured as the recipient.
In the video, shared on Instagram, Nagarjuna called for Sobhita and made her meet Chiranjeevi. He watched Sobhita interact with Chiranjeevi with a big smile. Naga Chaitanya stood a little behind Sobhita and watched his wife-to-be with protective eyes. Watch the video below:
Sobhita also joined the Akkineni family in a sweet family picture taken at the venue. In a photo gone viral, Chaitanya was seen holding Sobhita close as they posed with their family. The photo also featured Amitabh Bachchan, who presented Chiranjeevi with the award at the award show.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita got engaged in August this year. The ceremony was attended by just the couple’s family. Sobhita opened up about the intimate affair in a recent interview. In her chat with Galatta India, Sobhita said, “I don’t think I went into the moment with a lot of expectations or dreams, planning…no. I think I was there. It was quite relaxed, simple, sweet, intimate and warm. It was everything I thought it would be. When beautiful things happen, I don’t feel the need for embellishments. That moment itself fills me. So I didn’t feel like it was simple or it was not; it was what it was meant to be, and it was perfect.”
She also shared her thoughts on an ideal marriage. The Night Manager and Ponniyin Selvan actress added, “I always wanted Telugu-ness to be a part of moments like this. I am very attached to my roots, to tradition and my parents. That’s something I fantasised about.”
The couple has been tight-lipped about their wedding preparations. However, it is rumoured that they are getting married in December this year. Reports have also claimed that the wedding could be taking place in Rajasthan.
Last week, Sobhita revealed the families performed the pre-wedding ritual of Godhuma Raayi Pasupu danchatam. She shared the pictures from the ceremony and revealed it took place in Visakhapatnam. In the comments section, Sobhita revealed that she wore Chaitanya’s mother’s saree for the special occasion.
