Earns Almost 15 Crores Through Pre-Sales, Heading For Blockbuster Premieres!
The countdown is in the final stage, and we’re just six days away from the grand release of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2. But before it arrives full-fledged, the premieres are scheduled in North America (USA and Canada). Thanks to the sequel factor, the film is enjoying a huge buzz on the ground level, and that is being fully reflected through response in advance booking at the box office. The upcoming magnum opus is in huge demand in overseas centers, especially in North America. The makers are trying their best to make it an unforgettable affair. It has already secured a huge screen count, and the makers have successfully managed to lock the best premium screens for their biggie, especially in IMAX. So, it’s all up to people now to make it a blockbuster.
As per the last update, Pushpa 2 had registered the advance booking of a whopping $1.66 million for premieres through 974 locations in the USA. This is huge, and the film is heading for one of the biggest premieres of all time among Indian releases. After converting to Indian currency, it equals 14.04 crores. It comprises over 58,000 sold-out tickets.
If we include Canada’s pre-sales, the total stands at a huge $1.75 million, which equals 14.81 crores. Pushpa 2’s trend is superb, and it is expected to hit the $2 million mark comfortably.
For the unversed, North American premieres of Pushpa 2 are scheduled for December 4, and the full-fledged release is scheduled for December 5.
Directed by Sukumar, the Pushpa sequel also stars Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Sunil, and others in key roles. It will be released in five Indian languages: Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
