Dubai Bling: Farhana Bodi lashes out At Zeina Khoury, Says Safa Siddiqui ‘Doesn’t Come From Money’ | Exclusive

Dubai Bling’s Farhana Bodi says she’s miffed with Safa Siddiqui and Zeina Khoury’s ‘superficial comments’ on Birkins and Ferraris.

Netflix recently dropped the third season of Dubai Bling. High on drama and glamour, the reality series has once again grabbed a lot of eyeballs. And one of the many heated exchanges that caught attention is the one involving a Birkin bag! Safa Siddiqui was seen making a snarky remark at Farhana Bodi, hinting at how she must have borrowed the bag from her. To this, Farhana vehemently states that she wants to ‘put someone in their place’.

Now, in an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha, she reveals that the fight and drama were rather ‘real’. She tells us, “I did have a problem with Saba calling my Birkin bag borrowed because it’s not! I’ve an account with Hermes, globally! I buy my own bags. If I’m borrowing jewellery from brands to wear on the show and collaborating with them and you talk about that, it’s fine. But don’t talk about the things I own. I don’t want the whole world to think that I borrow my jewellery and bags. Who’s going to even borrow Hermes bags? No one! Not me! And I won’t lend mine to anyone either. It was important for my audience to know the truth and that’s why I gave into the drama.”

Further, Farhana, a social media influencer and entrepreneur with a multi-million-dollar net worth, hits back at Safa and calls her out and her ‘new money’ for looking down at her profession. “Safa doesn’t come from money. She married a rich guy. If she puts herself in my shoes, she can’t survive even for one day. I don’t brag about it because that’s not me. I’m made for glamour. I’m made for fashion. You cannot put someone’s job down and say that she hasn’t made it. I started from the bottom as a make-up artist and you’re saying that I haven’t made it?” she says.

What further angered Farhana is real-estate developer and Safa’s best friend Zeina Khoury’s decision to give her a Ferrari. Talking about it, she says, “Zeina gave me a Ferrari and said that maybe it will inspire me to buy one. But that’s not my priority. If I want a Ferrari or a Range Rover or a G-Wagon, I can easily get it in Dubai. When these girls make these superficial comments about Birkins and Ferraris, it really upsets me. These are materialistic things. Having a Ferrari doesn’t make you successful. You can get a loan and buy one.”

For Farhana, it’s her son who’s her ‘priority’. “Aydin is autistic. He needs to get the best of the best therapy, which is very expensive. All my money that I’m saving is for his future. If I want to roll in an expensive car or shoot inside one, I’ve many car companies wanting to collaborate with me. What matters the most to me is my child’s health. I live the glamorous life today but I hustled for it. They don’t know my journey, so they can keep commenting. I know what I went through,” she exclaims.
