Chris Martin’s father Anthony Martin was spotted at Narendra Modi Stadium, enjoying Coldplay’s performance during their concert in Ahmedabad.

After three concerts in Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium, British band Coldplay went on to perform two shows in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. They finally wrapped up the India tour after last night’s performance. During the band’s 25th January performance in Ahmedabad, a fan spotted Coldplay’s lead vocalist Chris Martin’s father Anthony Martin enjoying the concert at the stadium. He was seen smiling and proudly recording while his son performed on stage.

A video shared by a fan who attended Coldplay’s Ahmedabad concert shows Anthony Martin in a pink shirt. He took out his camera to record Chris Martin’s spectacular performance. He was seen smiling, and having fun at Coldplay’s concert as he stood amidst thousands of fans. Sharing the video, the Instagram user wrote that Anthony Martin was standing, filming and dancing the entire time. Meanwhile, in one comment, he shared that Anthony was very humble. “he was amazing bhai. Very humble. Saw me and waved too,” he wrote. He further added, “when the show started, an entourage of organisers come to scout the area. I thought they were technical guys doing audio check or something. Then they took pictures of the seats next to us. Didn’t expect that they were his scouts and Anthony Martin would come and sit NEXT TO US!!!!” Check out the video below!

Meanwhile, another Coldplay fan who gave a scooter ride to Chris Martin in Ahmedabad, met the singer’s dad Anthony Martin at the concert. He also shared pictures with him on Instagram, and wrote, “Attended @coldplay Chris Martin’s concert today and met his dad, Sir Anthony John Martin. Coldplay held their final and biggest-ever concert in Ahmedabad on January 26, and it was also livestreamed on Disney+ Hotstar last night. As the India tour concluded, Coldplay penned a heartfelt note, in which they wrote that they had an unforgettable two weeks in India. Sharing a picture of the packed stadium in Ahmedabad, they wrote, “Thank you Ahmedabad, thank you India. We’ll never forget these two weeks. Your love and kindness will stay with us forever.”
