Govinda’s Wife Sunita Ahuja Asks Women To ‘Take Care’ Of Husbands: ‘Hold Them In Hands Like I Have’

This comes days after Sunita Ahuja, in another interview, spoke about the insecurities she faced as a star wife, sharing how it affected her over the years.

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja have been married for 38 years now. However, in the recent times, the latter has made several controversial statements, which has only left everyone wondering if she is insecure about the Bollywood superstar. Amid all this, Sunita Ahuja has now asked women to take care of their men.

In a recent interview with Shirdi Today, Sunita Ahuja said, “Take care of your men. Men are like cricket – sometimes good, sometimes bad. I have always told women to hold their men in their hands like I have. If you can’t hold them, hit them.”

However, she also clarified that her bond with Govinda remains strong. “Nobody can separate us. I have a lot of fun with him. There are people who want to break homes more than outsiders. I won’t let anyone break homes. I will win because Baba is with me,” she added.

This comes days after Sunita, in another interview, spoke about the insecurities she faced as a star wife, sharing how it affected her over the years. She shared that she had to stay strong because of frequent link-up rumours.

“Dil par patthar rakhna padta hai kyunki kabhi yahan link up, kabhi wahan. But often he would be working non-stop so time hi nahi tha affair karne ka. Ab woh (Govinda) kaam nahi kar raha hai, toh mujhe insecurity hai kahi affair na kar le. 60 ke baad log sathiya jaate hain!” Sunita told Hindustan Times.

Prior to this, Sunita also joked about Govinda cheating on her when she told Pinkvilla Hindi Rush, “I used to be very secure earlier on in our marriage, now I am not… Kya hai na saath (60) ke baad log sathiya bhi jaate hai na… (After 60, people even lose their senses) He has crossed 60, you never know what he does…”

Married for nearly four decades, Govinda and Sunita tied the knot in 1987 when she was just 18 years old. The couple has two children, Yashvardhan Ahuja and Tina Ahuja.
