Recent episodes of “MasterChef India” have included some intriguing challenges for the show’s top 10 home chefs. This week, the candidates were again put through their paces with many tasks meant to test their ability as cooks and their understanding of the culinary arts.
The three celebrity chefs who serve as the panel’s judges, Ranveer Brar, Garima Arora, and Vikas Khanna, continue their search for the next MasterChef among amateur cooks by using the criterion of TIP, which stands for taste, innovation, and presentation.

Priya Vijan, competing from Bangalore, was eliminated when she could not pass the Pressure Test. During this challenge, the players were required to prepare a meal using just the contents of “swapped pantry baskets.” Priya Vijan, when asked about her experience on MasterChef, stated the following: “Participating in MasterChef India has been an amazing opportunity for me — being part of a food reality program that is so well regarded as this one is an honor. The three chefs judging the competition, Ranveer Brar, Garima Arora, and Vikas Khanna, are all wonderful teachers.
“Although the judges have been a useful source of information for me, the other home chefs in the competition have also been beneficial resources. I am going to miss having to contend with such fascinating obstacles regularly. My experience as a contestant on this program has equipped me with a lot of culinary knowledge that will be useful in my future endeavors.”

Priya Vijan, better known as the “Power Plant Girl,” is from Bangalore. She competed on “MasterChef India” to demonstrate that cuisine can be tasty and healthful. She suffers from a laundry list of health problems and, to add insult to injury, is lactose intolerant. When conventional medicine could not assist her, she resorted to the plants in her garden and found comfort. Additionally, she advocates for veganism.
