“I lived with 6 flatmates and yes, at one point there were 11 people in the house!” Sanya revealed. Despite the chaos, she looks back at that time fondly.

Reflecting on her mindset during those years, she said, “I guess I was way more carefree back then since there wasn’t much to worry about. We had nothing to lose or gain. Sometimes I would think, ‘What am I even doing? Should I go back to Delhi?’ Whenever I had that thought, I used to call my dad. He knew that things don’t just change overnight; they happen slowly over time.”

Sanya also talked about how chasing big dreams in Mumbai required patience and persistence. “When your dreams are really big, you start feeling like, ‘Okay, I’m in Mumbai now, so it’s no big deal, just one more month and one more month, and then another month, and you just keep going.’”
