Salman Khan’s Sikandar trailer on the editing table; to be released this weekend –

Sikandar trailer update:

Salman Khan is preparing for his next film, Sikandar, which will hit cinemas on Eid 2025. The film recently wrapped in Mumbai, and the makers are currently working on the trailer, which will be released this weekend, a week before the film’s release. Full-fledged advance booking is also expected to begin once the trailer is released.

Sikandar was completed last weekend, and the makers were waiting for those scenes to be added to the film’s trailer. The team shot an action scene along with some patchwork scenes that will be part of the trailer coming this weekend. A report in MidDay provided further details as follows.

“On Saturday, a small action bit was filmed with a crowd of about 50 people at the Golden Tobacco Factory in Vile Parle. The next day, another small shoot took place at Filmalaya Studio. These shots will be used in the trailer, which is currently being edited. The patchwork shoot lasted between 15 minutes to an hour, but it was important for the movie,” a crew member from the sets told the media portal.  

“Murugadoss is known to be meticulous and wants to deliver an action spectacle with Sikandar. The post-production team is working round the clock to finalize the cut. It’s not as if the audience has not been introduced to Sikandar’s world. With a song drop every few days, the actor-director duo has ensured that viewers are invested in the film. The trailer will further heighten their excitement,” the crew member added.  

Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar stars Salman Khan in the titular role, along with Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Babbar, and Sathyaraj. The film will be released in cinemas on Eid 2025, most likely following the Sunday release trend seen with Khan’s last release, Tiger 3 (2023).
