Directed by the acclaimed Sriram Raghavan, who’s known for thrillers like Andhadhun and Badlapur, Ikkis is based on the inspiring real-life story of Arun Khetarpal, India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra awardee. It’s a film that promises to be an emotional rollercoaster, and Simar’s debut couldn’t be at a better time.
In Ikkis, Simar will be sharing the screen with some huge names like Agastya Nanda (grandson of Amitabh Bachchan) and the legendary Dharmendra. With her debut in such a high-profile project, Simar’s journey into Bollywood is definitely one to watch!
Born to Alka Bhatia, Akshay Kumar’s sister, Simar grew up with a strong connection to the film industry. Her mom, Alka, is a film producer who was married to Vaibhav Kapoor (from whom she later divorced) before tying the knot with real estate mogul Surendra Hiranandani in 2012. Growing up in a family with such diverse influences, Simar was exposed to both the glamour of Bollywood and the world of business early on.

She pursued higher education abroad, studying at IMG Academy in Florida, Occidental College in Los Angeles, and George Washington University in the U.S.
