The Abhishek Bachchan starrer coming-of-age film I Want To Talk has turned out to be a major box office disaster. The movie was released on November 22, 2024. Let us take a look at its box office performance on the 7th day.

On its 7th day, the Abhishek Bachchan starrer earned the lowest ever since its release. The collections have gone down as low as 1 lakhs. There is no saving for the movie now. The movie had opened at an alarmingly low number that its a mere 25 lakhs. The only time the collections witnessed a slight spike was on its 2nd and 3rd day wherein it had earned 55 lakhs and 50 lakhs respectively. However, after that, the collections saw a pitiful downward graph. The total collections of the movie now comes to 1.87 crore. It is yet to cross 2 crores and might even wrap up below the same.
One of the main reasons why I Want To Talk failed to strike a chord with the masses is perhaps because it caters to a particular niche of audience. Probably, the Abhishek Bachchan starrer would have worked better if it would have been an OTT release. Given its disastrous box office performance, the film might witness an OTT release soon. There are high chances that the film will be received better in the digital sphere. The film’s opening also marked one of the poorest opening of Abhishek’s film career.
