Ahaan Panday To Make His Acting Debut With Mohit Suri’s ‘Young Love Story’

Aditya Chopra has been grooming Ahaan for some time and believes he has the potential to make it big in the industry.
Yash Raj Films recently disclosed that they have signed Mohit Suri for a young love story that will be released soon. While not much is known about the latest venture, the audience was undoubtedly curious to find out about the cast and plot. As per reports, this romance movie might mark Ahaan Panday’s acting debut. Ahaan is the cousin of Ananya Panday, who has made a name for herself in the industry.
According to a report by Pinkvilla, Aditya Chopra has been grooming Ahaan for some time and believes he has the potential to make it big in the industry. A source quoted by the portal said, “Ahaan was signed as a YRF Talent about five years back and he has been going through intense training programs devised personally by Aditya Chopra. He has been kept under wraps for the last few years and is now all set to make a big acting debut.” The source added Aditya Chopra and his team hope to make this one of the most significant debuts in the film industry.
That’s not it, the source revealed that Ahaan Panday has also been closely working with Mohit Suri to ace the new venture. The insider told Pinkvilla. “Mohit wishes to introduce Ahaan as the quintessential romantic hero, and Ahaan has already given multiple screen tests and auditions before signing on for the part. Mohit wanted a fresh face with charisma for the big screen and is excited to explore Ahaan’s potential on the spectacle.”
Reportedly, YRF and Mohit Suri’s untitled project will begin production later in 2024, and casting for other roles, including the female protagonist, has been kept under wraps.
Yash Raj Films and Mohit Suri have previously collaborated on successful films such as Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain, among others. Reportedly, this is the first film produced by YRF’s CEO, Akshaye Widhani. According to a report by the Indian Express, Aditya Chopra, the creative force behind YRF, is empowering Akshaye Widhani and his team to form creative alliances with directors and writers from the Hindi film industry.
Meanwhile, Ahaan Panday has already established himself in the industry as an assistant director, with major works such as Freaky Ali in 2016 and his most recent one, The Railway Men, streaming on Netflix.
