The eagerly awaited third installment of Rohit Shetty’s iconic Singham franchise is set to hit theaters this Diwali. And before the big reveal, the star-studded cast gathered in Mumbai to unveil the action-packed trailer.
The “Singham Again” trailer, featuring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor, has finally dropped, and it’s everything fans hoped for.
Deepika Padukone’s character in Singham Again, Shakti Shetty, is a Tamil Nadu-based police officer. Her introduction scene confirms this, with her car displaying the Tamil word for “Police.” While she’s portrayed as a devoted follower of Singham, the trailer hints at her vulnerability. In a poignant moment, Deepika breaks down, seemingly mourning the loss of lives during a fierce battle.
The scene, like a few fans also noticed, is set up in a similar to Vibhishana surrending to Lord Ram in Ramayan. These similarities hint that Deepika Padukone’s character might have been inspired by Vibhishana.
Rohit Shetty has pulled out all the stops for this one, crafting a trailer that showcases the film’s star-studded cast and intense action sequences. According to a trade source, Shetty has packaged the trailer like an Avengers film, ensuring everyone gets their moment to shine, but ultimately, it’s Bajirao Singham who takes center stage.
