Reports suggest that the actress is in talks for a psychological supernatural thriller, tentatively titled Chamunda. While discussions are ongoing, Alia is said to have loved the concept, and an official confirmation is expected by early 2025.
This new project, Chamunda, is rumored to be set in a parallel supernatural universe alongside Maddock’s already established horror-comedy franchise, which includes hits like Stree, Bhediya, and upcoming films Munjya and Thamma. “Alia is excited to partner with Maddock on this feature film, which could mark the beginning of a new supernatural franchise featuring her and Kiara Advani, among others,” a source shared.
Previously, it was reported that Kiara Advani is going to feature in a supernatural comedy titled Devi. Alia Bhatt’s Chamunda will be an addition into this new horror franchise.
