Shah Rukh Khan stars in Jawan, his second movie of the year. Pathaan, his most recent release, was his first in more than four years. The movie ended the actor’s run of box office failures and became his highest-grossing movie ever with a global gross of Rs 1050 crore. With that background, demands on Jawan are also high.
Jawan also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara, as well as Sanya Malhotra, Riddhi Dogra, Lehar Khan, and Deepika Padukone in a cameo appearance. To capitalise on the Janmashtami festival, Jawan, a movie produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, will be released worldwide in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on September 7.
