In her latest IG post, the budding actress talked about how her journey to become an actress was mentally and emotionally exhausting for her. She also mentioned the difficulties that a person faces in the industry if he is doing it all on his own merit while other just manage to live the dream with the help of big names. Akanksha revealed giving more than 100 auditions and facing multiple rejections.
Soon after, the actress received multiple sympathetic comments on her post. A user also passed a nasty comment on director Karan Johar who is touted as the flag bearer of nepotism in Bollywood and god father of Akanksha’s close friend Alia. His comment can be read as “You go girl! You’ve got more merit than some of the nepo kids who have GOD fathers like KJo handing them everything on a platter…” To everyone’s surprise, Alia’s bestie and her mother, Shashi Ranjan liked this particular comment.
A Reddit user shared a screenshot of Akansha’s post on the discussion portal with a proof of how she and her mother liked the comment. Netizens too began reacting to the same.
A user wrote, “If it’s true then Alia should be careful about the jealous souls around her.” Another stated, “Always found their friendship fake.” A third one penned, “I thought they were besties. This is literally stabbing in the back. I don’t disagree with the comment in question but if my bestie does this I would be hurt.”
