The performances of the lead actors, including Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol, have been widely praised. Keeping true to Sandeep’s promise, the film, which is more intense and graphic compared to Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh, is expected to perform exceptionally well during its opening weekend. Celebrities like Nani and SS Karthikeya have also praised the film.
SS Karthikeya, son of RRR and Baahubali director SS Rajamouli, took to X to praise Ranbir for his performance in Animal. The performance will be cherished for a lifetime.” He also wrote that Rashmika has delivered her career-best performance. He added, “@iamRashmika best till date. Nani wrote that the movie adhered to international standards and said that both the direction and performances elevated it to an entirely new level. He wrote, “Animal is INTERNATIONAL. @imvangasandeep is a mad genius. Ranbir, @iamRashmika and the rest of cast and crew, take a bow.”
Animal is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and revolves around a father and son’s toxic relationship. While Anil plays the emotionally unavailable father, Ranbir plays the role of the traumatised, angry son.
