Asif Ali And Suraj Venjaramoodu’s Adios Amigo To Now Release On August 9
Adios Amigo was initially slated to hit the screens on August 2.
Suraj Venjaramoodu took to his social media to make the announcement and sent his fans into a frenzy.
After much back and forth with the release, finally, the Malayalam film Adios Amigo will hit the theatres. Gear up folks, as Asif Ali and Suraj Venjaramoodu are all set to set the screens on fire with their upcoming film on August 9, Friday. Previously, the film was set to be released on August 15, which was later pushed back due to the landslides in Wayanad. Now, the makers have decided to release the film on Friday.
Recently, Suraj Venjaramoodu took to his social media to make the announcement and sent his fans into a frenzy. The poster showed the lead actors in stark contrast attires and on the top right of the poster, it read, “August 9 in theatres worldwide.” The caption also read the same with the addition of a white heart.
Adios Amigo was initially slated to hit the screens on August 2. Later, due to incessant rainfalls and landslides in Kerala’s Wayanad, the makers postponed the release. Ashiq Usman, the producer of Adios Amigo shared a post on Instagram and wrote, “As we cope with the incessant rains and the calamity that has struck Wayanad, our hearts go out to the families and loved ones who have suffered unimaginable loss. This is a time of immense grief and sorrow, and we stand in solidarity with those affected. We know that this tragedy has impacted all of us deeply in one way or the other, hence we would like to postpone the release. Our thoughts are with those affected by this calamity. Stay safe!”
Adios Amigo is bankrolled by Ashiq Usman while Jimshi Khalid is in charge of cranking the camera. The editing is handled by Nishadh Yusuf and Gopi Sunder scored the music. The film also stars Shine Tom Chacko, Ganapathi, Althaf Salim, Jinu Joseph, Salim Hassan, Anagha, Muthumani, and Riaa Saira in prominent roles. Debutant director Nahas Nasser is helming the movie. Adios Amigo’s shooting started on February 12 in Kochi.
