‘Fist’ things first. Manoj Bajpayee ‘s full-on action-masala melodrama is a new genre for him. But for the audience .The naïve and simplistic plot is a one-liner: repressed sociopath goes on a killing spree. Miraculously Manoj manages to override the trite clichés in the screenplay (seem to have written this on a lazy Sunday afternoon) to deliver a controlled performance in a film where everyone and everything shrieks. Bhaiyya Ji has the glimmers of a well told revenge tale. Too mired in its own discrepancies and wallowing in its simplistic dramatic overtures. Bhaiyaa Ji is not worth our attention even if there are no other releases this week.
