Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 & Singham Again Together Sell 61,000 Tickets On Cinema Lovers Day, But The Sabarmati Report Is The Biggest Draw!
Cinema Lovers Day is being observed today all across the nation, and the majority of exhibitors are participating by offering tickets at highly affordable rates. The audience will get to see the film at just 99 rupees in theatres. This is expected to boost the box office of Bollywood films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Singham Again, and The Sabarmati Report. In the advance booking itself, a considerable rise has been witnessed, with the aforementioned three films selling 1 lakh tickets even before the first show started today.
Today, Moana 2 is the film benefiting the most from discounted ticket rates. It’s a fresh release that has arrived in theatres today. Across the nation, it sold around 45,000 tickets in advance in national cinema chains (PVR INOX and Cinepolis) for today. Out of this, 35,000 tickets have been sold at PVR INOX, as per Pinkvilla’s report.
After Moana 2, The Sabarmati Report is leading on Cinema Lovers Day. The film is working in its own space, and due to discounted rates, it saw a big surge in advance booking at the Indian box office. On its day 15, the Vikrant Massey starrer sold around 39,000 tickets in national cinema chains.
The offer benefitted even Diwali releases, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again. On day 29, the Kartik Aaryan starrer sold 35,000 tickets through advance booking in national cinema chains. Out of this, 28,000 tickets were booked at PVR INOX. The Ajay Devgn starrer sold 26,000 tickets.
If we combine the pre-sales of Bollywood films, the ticket count in national cinema chains rises to 1 lakh. This is a big surge due to Cinema Lovers Day. Even over-the-counter ticket sales are expected to be huge.
