‘Chak De Fatte’: Sunny Deol Wishes Salman Khan For Sikandar’s Success As He Awaits Jaat Release

Sunny Deol wished Salman Khan success for Sikandar’s release on Instagram. Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, stars Rashmika Mandanna.

Sunny Deol, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming film Jaat on April 10, extended his best wishes to Salman Khan on Sikandar release day. The Gadar 2 actor shared a poster of Sikandar on Instagram and wrote a heartfelt wish for Bollywood’s Bhaijaan.

Sunny’s film, Jaat, is scheduled to release in about 10 days. On Sunday, March 30, the actor posted a solo photo of Salman Khan on Instagram and wrote, “My Dear @beingsalmankhan, all the very best for #Sikandar release.” He further added, “Chak De Fatte!”, wishing the film a great box office performance.

Fans took to the comments section and expressed their love for both Sikandar and Jaat. While one fan wrote, “Kon kon jaat movie ka wait kar raha hai jaldi se like kro”, another added, “Sikandar ke baad jaat Bhi block buster karni hai Salmanic fan.” Yet another fan wrote, “Salman Khan ne interview me bola h sikander ke baad sab jaat movie dekhe.”

Salman Khan’s fandom is in full swing with Sikandar’s release. His fans are uniting to celebrate the film’s release in theatres. From cutting cakes, sporting Sikandar-themed t-shirts to welcoming the film with dhol, dance, and sheer joy, the excitement is palpable.

Meanwhile, News18 Showsha spoke to trade analyst Akshaye Rathi who predicted the film’s opening day numbers. He told us, “The expectations for Sikandar are huge because Salman Khan and Eid coming together is synonymous with a blockbuster bonanza at the box office.”

He added, “We are hoping that this little combination of Salman Khan, Eid and a producer like Sajid Nadiadwala on the front foot and a storyteller like AR Murugadoss who is really good with massy storytelling – this should really result in great numbers at the box office. We are hoping that a bare minimum of Rs 30 crore happens on Day 1.”

Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar stars Rashmika Mandanna, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Anjini Dhawan, Kajal Aggarwal in pivotal roles.

As for Sunny Deol’s Jaat, the film eyes the Baisakhi weekend for release (April 10). It stars Randeep Hooda as the dreaded antagonist. The film is helmed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
