And now, the couple’s son Ruhaan received blessings from the transgender community as they demanded ‘sawa lakh’ in the form of shagun.
Actor-couple Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar’s baby boy, Ruhaan received blessings from the transgender community. Taking to her YouTube channel on August 13, 2023, Dipika Kakar talked about the moment when the transgender people Bobby and her group, arrived at their home to bless the baby boy. It was a thrilling experience for the family as the transgenders blessed Ruhaan and Shoaib Ibrahim’s sister in the most heartfelt manner.
Dipika Kakar shared a video wherein transgenders showered blessings on Ruhaan
The transgenders arrived at Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim’s house located in Mumbai. Later after the event got over, Dipika posted a vlog on her YouTube channel featuring the transgenders singing songs and dancing to the dhol beats. Further in the video, Dipika shared that the transgenders arrived at her home when she won Bigg Boss 12. She added that this time, things were different as they did their rituals to bless the baby boy.
The video further featured a guest from the group mentioning a joke that the transgenders would demand Rs. 1.5 lakhs as the shagun amount. They were heard saying, “Khushi-Khushi sawa lakh lege”. The family was seen laughing and happily dancing with them. At the end of the video, they showered love and sacred blessings on Shoaib Ibrahim’s sister, Saba with good wishes. The family was seen enjoying special moments of their son, Ruhaan’s life.
Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar’s Baby Boy’s Aqeeqah ceremony
It was on August 11, 2023, when Shoaib Ibrahim took to his YouTube channel and posted a glimpse of Ruhaan’s Aqeeqah ceremony. The event was organized on August 8, 2023. The newbie father disclosed that he knows that the Aqeeqah ceremony is performed on the seventh day of a child’s birth. The family, however, was unable to conduct it as Ruhaan was a premature baby.
Ruhaan’s Mundan was held just 1.5 months after his birth
Shoaib further elaborated on the baby’s head-shaving ritual. Shoaib held Ruhaan in his arms, while the hair-dresser was smoothly shaving off his head. Commonly, in several cultures, the mundan ceremony of the newborn is typically performed after the child reaches the age of at least two years. However, Dipika and Shoaib decided to hold it early. The baby boy looked adorable in his shaved head picture.
For the unversed, Dipika Kakar married Shoaib Ibrahim after she got divorced from her previous husband, Raunak Samson.
