Esha Deol Calls Bobby Deol ‘Bhaiya’, Hema Malini’s Daughter Sends Him Birthday Wishes

Bobby Deol has been getting an overwhelming response for his performance in the last released film Animal. The actor was even emotional when fans lauded him as Lord Bobby. Well, today he has turned a year older. He is celebrating his 55th birthday and wishes are pouring in from all corners. Esha Deol has also wished him well and shared a heartfelt note.

Taking to her official Instagram handle, Esha shared a photo of Bobby Deol with Abrar music in the background. She wrote, “Happy Birthday Bahiya! So proud of you.” Earlier in the day, Sunny Deol also sent him wishes. Sunny shared a series of pictures with his brother and called him ‘My Lil Lord Bobby’. In the first picture, the two brothers were seen sharing a warm hug. Another photo was was duo’s recent appearance on Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan 8. One of the pictures also featured the actors posing with their father, veteran actor Dharmendra.

On this special day, the makers of his upcoming movie Kanguva surprised all by releasing the first-look poster of the actor. In the poster, Bobby Deol looked ‘ruthless, powerful, unforgettable’. He sported long untidy hair and a necklace of bones with blood marks on it. Deol was also seen surrounded by hundreds of people as he kept a stern look on his face.

Kanguva marks Bobby Deol’s Tamil debut. In December 2023, the actor shared that his character in the Suriya-starrer goes beyond his usual comfort zone. “This role is definitely out of my comfort zone, also I don’t know the language, so that is again totally out of my zone. I can’t even learn Tamil in a month or two, but I will work on it,” he told India Today.

Featuring Suriya and Disha Patani as the titular characters, the film is directed by Siva, the creator of many blockbuster hits in his career. Other star casts of the film will be revealed in due course. The film features cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy and musical score by ‘Rockstar’ Devi Sri Prasad. Reportedly, Suriya has wrapped up shooting for the film.
