As per Midday report, CID sources revealed that 19 fingerprint samples collected from the scene of the attempted robbery failed to match those of Shehzad, raising concerns about whether the wrong person has been apprehended. Additionally, Bandra Police have hinted at the possibility of another suspect being involved in the case.

The police had launched an extensive three-day manhunt involving 20 teams to locate Shehzad, ultimately tracking him down in Thane. His arrest was facilitated by tracing a Google Pay transaction he made to pay for breakfast. Authorities allege that Shehzad is a Bangladeshi national who entered India illegally.

However, the mismatch in fingerprints and growing doubts about his identity have cast a shadow over the investigation, leaving many questions unanswered.

Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan is reportedly recovering well from surgery following the attack. The incident occurred during an attempted robbery, and while the actor sustained injuries, his condition is stable.
