Talking about Deepika and SRK’s professional front, the actress made her Bollywood debut with SRK in the 2007 released film, ‘Om Shanti Om’. Let us tell you that the two starred together in Rohit Shetty’s film, ‘Chennai Express’. The two stars were also seen together in Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year.’ And now, Deepika Padukone revealed the amount she charged for her cameo appearance in the blockbuster hit, ‘Jawan’. Rumors have been rife that Bollywood actress, Deepika Padukone was charging a whopping sum of Rs. 15 crores for her cameo appearance in the film, ‘Jawan’. During an interaction session with ‘The Week’, Deepika shared that she didn’t charge anything for her blockbuster performance in the Atlee directorial. Deepika was heard saying:
“I wanted to be a part of 83 because I wanted it to be an ode to women who stand behind their husbands’ glory. I watched my mother do it. This was my homage to wives who make sacrifices to support their husbands’ careers. Other than that, any special appearance for Shah Rukh Khan, I am there. Same with Rohit Shetty.”

Earlier, the actress was seen with her co-star, Shah Rukh Khan in the popular hit movie, ‘Pathaan’. For the unversed, ‘Pathaan’ crossed the mark of Rs. 1000 crore worldwide, making the film a huge success. Talking about her comradeship with SRK, Deepika Padukone revealed:
“We are each other’s lucky charm. But honestly, we are beyond luck. We have a sense of ownership over each other… I am one of the few people he is vulnerable with. There is so much trust and respect, and I think that luck is just the cherry on the top.”
On the professional front, the actress will next be seen in the ‘Fighter’, opposite Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor. The actress also has ‘The Intern’ opposite Amitabh Bachchan in the pipeline.
