While promoting the song in a recent interview, Armaan Malik Shared thoughts on creatively working with his brother, composer Amaal Mallik. Regarding their collaboration, Armaan shared a personal experience about the song ‘Chale Aana’ from the movie De De Pyaar De. The singer opened up and talked about it., “There was a song ‘Chale Aana’ from De De Pyaar De, Amaal and I faced a moment of struggle. Unhappy with my singing, I was on the verge of tears, ready to walk away. However, Amaal brought me back, insisting we finish the song that day. Despite my anger, I sang with intensity, and the song turned out perfect in that one take. He has his own way of extracting work from me. He is the only person who pushes me beyond my limits.”

Before “Only Just Began,” Armaan and Amaal collaborated on multiple hit tracks, such as “Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon,” “Bol Do Na Zara,” and “Jaan Hai Meri,” to name a few.
