Boney Kapoor about Sridevi:

Bollywood director and producer Boney Kapoor was married to the Hollywood diva Sridevi, also known as Hawa Hawai, for years, until death tore them apart. In a recent interview with ABP, he discussed his life following the death of his wife, how he may be attracted to others, but nothing can fill that void, and how passionately he loved Sridevi Kapoor.

Boney Kapoor stated, “I never cheated on her; I never had to look here or there. She was my everything. Even today, I may have friends, I may get attracted to females around me, but as far as she’s concerned, passion and love will never go away.”

The Maidaan producer believes that he and Sridevi were inseparable and that even death cannot separate them or their love for each other. “We were inseparable. I was in love with her, I am in love with her, and I will be in love with her till my dying day. When the most sought-after beauty and personality becomes convinced to spend the rest of her life with you, what greater joy could there be?” 

Sridevi and Boney married in 1996 and have two children, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor (both working in the Bollywood industry). The couple was happily married until Sridevi’s tragic death in 2018, which left everyone in shock.
