John Abraham’s last major action event movie was Pathaan (2023), and we all know how well he performed in that film. The movie was a huge blockbuster at the box office and broke several records. Now, the Dostana actor is looking to work with Bollywood director Rohit Shetty on a new action thriller.

According to a report in Mid Day, the duo of John Abraham and Rohit Shetty may come together for the first time for an action thriller. This will be quite a departure from the cop universe and franchise films for Rohit Shetty, as he himself wishes to do so.

“Rohit has had the idea for this film for a long time. After Singham Again (2024) was released, he started developing this project while the Golmaal 5 script was being finalized. He wants to venture beyond cop stories and the comedy franchise. A few preliminary meetings with John have already taken place. If their schedules align and the draft is ready, the slick actioner could begin filming as early as April. A final decision will be made by March,” a source told the portal.

The report also mentioned that this film will be shot over approximately 45 days, following a mostly start-to-finish schedule. “The actor and director have discussed potential dates. They both are eager to shoot it over the summer, after which Rohit will move on to the Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 shoot,” the source added. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this.
