Kangana Ranaut Feels India Is Obsessed Over ‘Khans’ And Muslim Actresses, ‘Unfair To Accuse…’
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is on fire after making a comeback on micro blogging site Twitter. Currently, she is putting forward her views on the storming success of megastar Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback film Pathaan. In her recent attack on the action movie, Ranaut claimed that the kind of appreciation Pathaan is getting proves that only Muslim actors receive love in India.
Kangana reacted to a tweet of a film producer who was congratulating Shah Rukh Khan for smashing all box office records with Pathaan. The tweet stated that response to Pathaan proves certain facts like SRK is loved by Hindus and Muslims equally, boycott controversies are useless, India is secular, etc. It also contained video showing Shah Rukh Khan fans celebrating in theatres.
Kangana Ranaut’s tweet
As soon as Kangana took notice of the tweet, she re-shared it and said that the SRK’s victory with Pathaan indicates the fact that ‘hate and fascism’ doesn’t exist in India. She also asserted that it is not fair to accuse India of hate as cinema lovers have only showered love to Shah Rukh Khan and other Muslim actors.
The Queen actress penned, ‘Great analysis. This country has only and only loved Khans. They are obsessed over Muslim actresses. So it’s very unfair to accuse India of hate and fascism. There is no country like Bharat in the whole world.’
Prior to this, Kangana had accused Bollywood of creating a false narrative that it is bearing all the hate from Hindu community. She indirectly warned certain people from the film industry against the use of words like ‘triumph over hate’ and asked them to stay away from politics.
Interestingly, Kangana’s arch rivals- filmmaker Karan Johar and actress Alia Bhatt had penned notes on the success of Pathaan with phrases like ‘love wins over hate’.
Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming films
Kangana will soon portray the role of former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi in the much-anticipated film Emergency. She also has Chandramukhi 2 and Tejas in the pipeline.
