Inches closer to a century at the domestic box office
L2: Empuraan enjoyed a boost in box office collections on Monday due to the Eid holiday. The occupancy remained impressive throughout the day, minting 11.15 crores in India. The 5-day total concludes at 70.15 crores net.
It is the highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2025 and continues its record-breaking spree with each passing day at the box office. The action thriller is now also the most successful installment in the franchise, surpassing Lucifer’s lifetime of 65.21 crores.
Goes beyond a century overseas!
Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer is the fastest Indian film of 2025 to clock a century. It also left behind the overseas earnings of the Bollywood blockbuster Chhaava (100.90 crores). On day 5, it earned 23.88 crores gross in the overseas market. The international total now stands at 124.88 crores gross.
