When asked about the wedding date, Nagarjuna told TimesNow – “Not immediately. We chose to have a hurried engagement because it was an auspicious day, and since Chay and Sobhita are very sure that they want to marry, we said, let’s do it.”

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala Wedding Date In December?
As per few reports, it is being speculated that the wedding might be in December.
An insider source said -“The dates could be between December 17 and 29. But it is too early to pencil in, considering both Sobhita and Naga have busy schedules till the year-end. They will finalise the date in the coming months.”
Nagarjuna commented that the engagement had gone smoothly and that he was elated his son found happiness again. (Naga Chaitanya had divorced Samantha Ruth Prabhu in 2021)
“Sobhita and Chay make a wonderful couple. They love each other dearly. Only the immediate family was there. We chose this day because it is very auspicious. Both families consulted the Nakshatras, and when we were told August 8 was a very auspicious day, we decided to go ahead with it. Sobhita’s parents and sister. Chay’s mother was there, of course. My wife, Amala, was there. That’s it,” the veteran actor said.
Nagarjuna Knew Sobhita Before His Naga Chaitanya –
Nagarjuna knew Sobhita even before his son. He had admired her work in Adivi Sesh’s film Goodachari.
“We have had many discussions on cinema, life, and philosophy. Sobhita is a very well-informed girl,” Nagarjuna said.
For their special day, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita wore Manish Malhotra ensembles. Sobhita donned a gorgeous peach saree while Chaitanya complemented her in an ivory outfit.
